Contacting page authors/editors or other users
You must be logged in and have a valid (confirmed) email address in your user preferences to do this
- Go to the user page of the specific user you wish to contact.
- Complete list of users is available at All Users
- If the user is set up to accept emails, there will be an "E-mail this user" link in the "toolbox" navigation pane on the lower left side of your screen. Note that when you use this link to contact the user, the email generated will show your email address as the "from:"
- If there is not link there, it means that user has decided to not accept email correspondence. Your only option at this point would be to place a message in the user's discussion page (or the discussion tab for one of the pages the user has authored) and hope the user checks this page. There is really no other option
